Ruby on Rails Developers

The DimpleDough development team is expanding. We are looking for intermediate to advanced developers to join our team. We aim to take the best elements of various development methodologies that work for us (most notably from the agile camp) but don’t adhere to any single process.

Required skills:

  • 3+ years web application development experience in a professional environment
  • 1+ year Ruby on Rails experience in a professional environment
  • 2+ years enterprise product development experience
  • Willingness to learn Ruby on Rails and keep up-to-date with this evolving framework
  • Expert level knowledge of XHTML/CSS/JavaScript/JQuery
  • Desire to have fun, and work in a close-knit team environment
  • Self-starter, eager to learn new technologies and bring fresh ideas to the table
  • Ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines

Desired skills:

  • Fundamental understanding of Git
  • Excellent usability and UI design skills
  • Experience with unit tests and TDD
  • Knowledge of rspec/cucumber
  • Experience with scrum or other agile development methodologies in a team environment
